About MakeHampers
MakeHampers is a UK food and drink hamper company based in Chester, Cheshire. We pack hampers by hand in the UK and send them free, next day, to homes and offices across the country.
Every hamper is built from named independent producers, not supermarket fillers. Cartwright & Butler biscuits, Mr Filbert's snacks, a wedge of cheddar packed in a reusable cool bag, a bottle of prosecco. Real food from makers we can name, sent properly.
Our Story
MakeHampers was founded in 2021 and is based in Chester, Cheshire. We are part of Funktion Leisure Ltd, an events and gifting group that has been trading since 2007.
The hamper side grew out of that group. After years arranging events and corporate gifts, we kept getting asked for the same thing: a good hamper that turned up on time and looked like someone had thought about it. So we made one, then a range.

What Goes in Them
We work with independent producers, many of them British, and change the range with the seasons.
Cheese travels in a reusable insulated cool bag. Beer comes in a galvanised bucket you can fill with ice. Letterbox gifts fit through the door when nobody's home. Prices run from under £30 to over £100, so there's a hamper for a colleague's leaving do and one for a client you want to keep next year. Free UK delivery on every order, with no minimum spend.
