What Is a Breakfast Hamper?
A breakfast hamper is a gift box for the morning, built around tea with something sweet to go with it. Ours pair black or herbal tea with flapjack, shortbread and biscuits. The gift boxes add a small jar of preserve. It is the breakfast-in-bed sort of gift, not a full English.
A breakfast gift here tends to hold:
- Tea bags, black or herbal
- A flapjack, caramelised biscuit or lemon drizzle
- Shortbread and biscuits
- Fudge or chocolate in some boxes
- A small jar of preserve in the gift boxes

Breakfast Hampers for Tea Drinkers
Our breakfast hampers are tea hampers at heart. The bigger gift box brings stem ginger shortbread, a caramelised biscuit flapjack, salted caramel fudge and a bramble and apricot preserve for the toast. The letterbox box keeps it light, with chamomile, Earl Grey and green tea with mint, a lemon drizzle flapjack and Cornish fairings.
You will find the same boxes in our afternoon tea hampers. A good tea box works at nine in the morning as well as four in the afternoon.
Buying for a coffee drinker? There is no coffee hamper in the range at the moment, so a box of tea is the wrong gift for them.
Not a Full Breakfast Hamper
Worth being clear. This is tea and morning treats. There are no pastries, cereal or bacon. There is a jar of preserve in the gift boxes, but the toast is up to you. If you want the makings of a cooked breakfast, that is not what these are.

For a birthday morning, add a bottle of fizz for a breakfast toast. Prosecco makes a good buck's fizz, and the prosecco hampers have the bottles.
