What Is a Picnic Hamper
A picnic hamper is a gift box of food made for eating outdoors. Cheese, crackers, savoury snacks and something to drink. Ours come in boxes and cool bags, not woven baskets. The focus is on what you eat. Not the basket you carry it in.

For two, a cheese cool bag and a bottle of wine is plenty. Easy to carry and share. For four or more, go bigger. A cheese box, a wine case and extra snacks covers the rug. Match the size to the crowd and nobody goes hungry.
Not a Wicker Basket
Straight up. We do not sell the woven basket with the leather straps and matching plates. What we sell is the food that goes in one. The Cheese Cool Bag is the closest to picnic kit. Thermal packaging keeps the cheddar cool on a warm day.
Choosing Picnic Food
Start with the cheese, since it travels well and shares easily. The cheese hampers run to three cheddars with chutney. Add a bottle from the wine hampers. Fill the gaps with crisps and nuts from the savoury hampers.
Ordering and Delivery
Delivery is free the length of the UK. Get an order in by 1pm and it leaves that working day. Pick the day it arrives at the basket, so it lands before the picnic, not after. A wine case is heavy and needs a signature. The delivery and returns page has the timings.
